After reading this article, I ran my Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium in the Threat San mode to see if either of the two would be flagged. Better to safe than sorry. Except the removal of those lines in my reg for crap that is no longer there.
I see no need to bloat the registry with information that has nothing to do with whats on my system. The only thing to keep in mind is that not every orphan is bad. Some particular keys in the registry should remain orphaned due to some other settings pointing to them.
Imagine what would happen if this particular oprhaned key was removed, and later some another software callled it due to some fucntions. This is why we do not recommend to use Registry Cleaners. CCleaner at least does a backup of removed entries, so there is a possibility to revert the changes.
